Bill Worrell

There was Great Spirit

No beginning to Great Spirit

There was nothing but Great Spirit

Great Spirit make all that is

Great Spirit make everything

Everything is part of Great Spirit

We all are part of one another

When we hate someone

We hate ourselves

When we love someone

We love ourselves

When we injure or kill someone

We injure or kill part of ourselves

When we do wrong to ourselves

We do wrong to others

When we exalt others

We exalt ourselves

When we exalt ourselves

And forget about exalting others

We give mischief great opportunities

Too often

We do not see these things
