Desert Breath ( ר֫וּחַ )
Mindful attention to place, practice and body,
along the edges of time, technology and wisdom,
bring into focus a pilgrim’s pathway
along which we can intimately abide with Spirit.
This is a holy realm
unbound by religion,
not confined by secular vocation,
a thin veil between death and immortality.
In such a place,
one comes to know how even the most mundane act,
if practiced with extraordinary intention,
opens up a doorway through which Holy Breath enters,
inspiring eternal grace
amidst even the harshest landscapes of our being.
