Inter-religious Resources

In order to be most faithful to God ...

... through our own personal religious faith and practice, it can be very helpful to learn about the spiritual parameters of people who understand life and faith very differently than we do. It is taught in the Christian tradition to “love your neighbor as yourself.” But how do we truly know how to love our neighbor if we do not know from where they come; if we do not understand their deepest values of faith and life and practice; if we do not know and respect what they hold most sacred and holy?  Learning may be the first step to loving more of our human sisters and brothers who live all around us; and loving may be an opportunity for God to teach us new ways of living a life of faithful Christian spirituality beyond what we now know.
